Zelensky Speaks Out Following Dispute with Trump and Vance

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed recent tensions with U.S. leaders, publicly expressing gratitude for America’s continued support in Ukraine’s defense against Russia. His statement came after Vice President J.D. Vance criticized him for not explicitly thanking the United States during his recent visit.

Taking to X, Zelensky emphasized his appreciation for U.S. assistance, writing:

“Thank you, America. Thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you @POTUS, Congress, and the American people. Ukraine seeks a just and lasting peace, and we are committed to achieving that.”

His remarks aimed to reaffirm Ukraine’s gratitude amid growing political discourse in Washington regarding the extent of U.S. involvement in the conflict.
