Trump Declares “The Invasion of Our Country is OVER”

In a groundbreaking announcement that has sent shockwaves through Washington and beyond, President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to declare that “The Invasion of our Country is OVER.” Following his first full month in office, Trump proudly revealed that illegal border crossings have dropped dramatically, with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recording only 8,326 apprehensions at the southern border—a historic low in stark contrast to the overwhelming figures under the previous administration.

A Historic Turnaround at the Border

Trump’s bold declaration comes after months of aggressive action to address the ongoing challenges at the southern border. He attributed the dramatic reduction in illegal border crossings to the success of his administration’s tough immigration policies. According to the president, CBP recorded just 8,326 apprehensions during his first month in office, and all individuals involved were either immediately deported or prosecuted. This marks a stunning 96% drop in apprehensions compared to the peak of the Biden administration in December 2023, when CBP recorded a staggering 301,981 encounters.

Trump framed this historic drop as a clear indication that his border security measures were working. “Very few people came, and that is because our border is CLOSED to all illegal immigrants,” he stated, reaffirming his stance that those who attempt to cross unlawfully will face severe criminal penalties and deportation.
