Headquarters is heartbroken to share that our Founder, our Folk Hero, our Poet of the World, our Vice President of the Abrupt Change Dept., the Storyteller, our beloved Todd Daniel Snider has departed this world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhere do we find the words for the one who always had the right words, who knew how to distill everything down to its essence with words and song while delivering the most devastating, hilarious, and impactful turn of phrases?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originally from Oregon, Snider relocated to Nashville in the 1990s to study under the likes of Jimmy Buffett, Billy Joe Shaver, and other leading stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His 2004 album,&nbsp;<em>Eat Nashville Skyline<\/em>, was considered a vital part of the foundation in the development of alt-country and Americana music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/11\/17084032\/GettyImages-1419647936-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-180377\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">AUSTIN, TEXAS \u2013 AUGUST 29: Todd Snider performs in concert, opening for Robert Earl Keen at ACL Live on August 29, 2022 in Austin, Texas. (Photo by Gary Miller\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this month, Snider was arrested in Salt Lake City on charges of disorderly conduct, threat of violence and trespassing. He was released hours later and transported to hospital to be treated for injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 59-year-old announced shortly afterwards that his High, Lonesome and Then Some Tour had been canceled, claiming on social media that he had been the \u201cvictim of a violent assault\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are heartbroken to announce the cancellation of the High, Lonesome and Then Some 2025 Tour dates,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAhead of Todd Snider\u2019s show in Salt Lake City, Todd sustained severe injuries as the victim of a violent assault outside of his hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/informed24.info\/wp-admin\/post-new.php?post_type=post\">Add New Post<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The artist\u2019s team confirmed he had passed away on Friday, November 14, having been transported to hospital in the wake of the incident.
